Inspired by the Val de Loire. The bushvines look like ancient little trees, struggling for up to fifty years on a dryland West-facing slope on the Paardeberg (Swartland). The extreme low yield ensures rich flavours and the mineral-rich soils adds a fresh note to the wine for a perfect balance. Natural barrel fermentation only. This is a food wine like few others.
Tasting notes: Aromas of naartjie, lemon grass, white peach and freshly cut herbs introduces a lively, silky texture with apricot, gooseberry, lemon zest and granadilla. The wine has a fine mineral finish.
